1. What is your holiday wish for your family?
Well it's our first Christmas so far away from family, so I hope the kids aren't too sad to be missing everybody. It may be our first non-white Christmas also, so it could be a double whammy.
2. What is your Christmas morning tradition?
If the kids wake up before us, they are allowed to go downstairs and get their stocking. They usually take them upstairs into someones bed and go through them....then they have to wait until at least 7 a.m. to wake us up! Then it's present opening and breakfast, and a nice long day - usually spent in pajamas.
3. If you could ask Santa for one, completely decadent wish for yourself, what would it be?
I'd love to take a cruise - even if it was a kid themed one... but it would have to leave a port that we could drive too because I really hate flying.
4. How do you make the holidays special without spending any money?
Home movies! What better time of year to curl up on the couch and get a great laugh over something so precious.
5. What games did you play with your family growing up?
Payday, Kings in the Corner with my Great-Gma, Trivial Pursuit
6. What holiday tradition have you carried on from your own childhood?
The whole 'stockings first' in the morning.
7. Where would you go for a Christmas-away-from-home trip?
To any family members we could - Michigan or Florida
